The Ultimate Content Hack

Feb 25, 2020 | SEO, Tips

You hear it everywhere, everyone talks about it, you all know “Content is King”. The problem is you need to create so much content to keep up with each platform. That amount of content takes a lot of time. I’m going to let you in on a little secret that will save you a lot of time and money.

We are going to utilize a kind of top-down approach to making content. This works if you have someone working with you, like us, to help you create content or if you’re going at it alone.

How It Works

It’s simple really. You need a lot of content and all different sorts of content to post on the different platforms.

We are going to start off with creating a YouTube video for your channel. From this video you can extract the audio and turn it into a podcast. From that same video you can cut shorter clips for Instagram posts and Stories. You can re-upload the entire YouTube video to Facebook and then upload the smaller clips you created for Instagram onto Facebook in stages. To finish things off you can transcribe the video and create a blog post.

The Wrap Up

This approach will take up a bit of time cutting that original YouTube clip into different pieces of content but by re-purposing the same content you get a much higher ROI since you aren’t having to individually create brand new pieces of content for each platform.

While it’s still a good idea to create content individually for each platform to appeal to the different audiences, this is a wonderful way to save time and keep up with your content requirements.
